It’s time for Pizza Friday with Jeff (The Pizza Guy). Keeping with the same theme, I’m continuing on with frozen deep dish pies. This time, I had Reggios.
The only kind they had was sausage, so that’s what I went with (still one of my favorites). After the unboxing, I wouldn’t exactly say I had high hopes for it. It did not really look all that appetizing. For good measure I put a pinch of Italian seasoning on it. I follewed the directions exactly (again). This time I decided to cook it an extra 6 minutes.
The Pizza came out piping hot, and I let it set for about 2 minutes before cutting it. The pizza was actually cooked to perfection. Even after cooking and cutting, I still wasn’t all that excited about it. After trying it, I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite good. The sauce was delicious and the cheese was pretty good. The sausage was great. The crust could have been more crispy ideally, but I was happy either way. I’d probably get it again.
